Our common purpose is accomplished through serving our community
utilizing the shared talents and skills of our supportive network of women.
All Member Meetings are held the first Wednesday evening 6:00-8:00pm at the clubhouse at 894 Washington Street, Bath.
Be our guest on Wednesday, November 5, 6pm as we welcome Jayne Sullivan who will present a "Beads for Life" presentation. The business meeting will begin at 7pm.
In April 1913, Miss Elizabeth E. Webber, with sixteen other Bath women, formed the Cosmopolitan Club as a place for working women to get together and share a fellowship. At the home of Miss Emma E. Walker, these women adopted the by-laws and house rules which included goals in philanthropic, social, educational, and civic endeavors. In April 2013, we celebrated our 100th Anniversary!

A Collect for Club Women
Keep us, O God, from pettiness;
let us be large in thought, in word, in deed.
Let us be done with fault finding,
and leave off self-seeking.
May we put away all pretense
and meet each other face to face
without self-pity and without prejudice.
May we never be hasty in judgment
and always generous.
Teach us to put into action our better impulses,
straightforward and unafraid.
Let us take time for all things;
make us to grow calm, serene, gentle.
Grant that we may realize
it is the little things that create differences;
that in the big things of life we are at one.
And may we strive to touch and to know
the great common human heart of us all,
and O, Lord God, let us forget not to be kind.
